Bring proper identification - South African ID, passport or official government photo ID is a rule. Entry is for those 18+ only, strictly enforced.

Table Rules and How Betting Works

Our blackjack sticks with familiar casino standards. Minimum and maximum bets go up and down, depending on time, table and if there’s a casino promotion. Always check the sign at each table to see exactly what limits are active before you play.

More than one player can join in at once. Tables fill up quickly on weekend nights. There are both smoking and non-smoking sections, and you can pick what works for you.

We only handle South African Rands at the tables. If you’re holding foreign currency, it needs to be exchanged at the authorised points before collecting chips. Direct table exchange with anything other than Rands isn’t allowed.

For MVG members at qualifying tiers, the Barnato Room is our dedicated Salon Privé area, a private space set off from the hustle, with its own selection of games and an assortment of slot machines.

We sometimes switch up the layout for operations - machines move, and tables sometimes shift location. So while we try to keep things consistent, we never guarantee a table will always be where it was last time.

Entry, Regulations and Security

All guests are ID-checked at entry. Only adults are allowed in, and without ID there is no entry. The casino operates under the Northern Cape Gambling Board, so strict oversight is in place. That means compliance with anti-money-laundering and responsible gambling rules is standard.

Anyone registered on national self-exclusion programs or internal barred lists will not be let onto the floor. Security systems spot excluded individuals and strictly enforce this.

A smart casual dress code is in effect across the gaming spaces. We might turn away anyone who doesn’t fit the standard, particularly during events or for Salon Privé rooms.

Service desks help with questions, MVG sign-ups, and chip transactions during opening hours. Staff can always explain ongoing promos and tell you if blackjack tables are open.

For disputes during play, floor supervisors and pit bosses make the call, and their word is final on table rulings or game outcomes. We may adjust table limits, change game types or reposition tables at any time, without notice.

Every part of the gaming floor is under active surveillance. Card counting, partnership play, or rowdy behavior can get you removed and sometimes permanently excluded.

Amenities and Extra Services
